Quebec City Plans

Updated: Apr 15

We got passports finally and are getting ready to leave the Country as a family for the first time ever!

Since we are looking to save $ and renovating the kitchen, we are looking for the most budget friendly trip we can manage (with enough style and modern amenities to keep us parents and the kids happy).

We are road tripping it to Quebec City and stopping in Vermont overnight first to break up the driving a bit. Here is the plan we are looking at for an itinerary.

Stop #1 - Jericho VT

The kids are super excited to stay here since Wednesday was pretend set here.

We are staying at The Sinclair Bed & Breakfast which looks adorable and serves a full hot breakfast from scratch in their dining room! Thee kids are extremely excited about this. Usually B&Bs do not allow kids so this is a special treat.

While in the area we also plan to stop at Lake Champlain Chocolate and Ben & Jerrys in Waterbury VT (30 min from Jericho).

Once we get to Quebec City we are staying at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. My son is really excited because he heard this hotel is haunted! I picked it more for the grand fascade and incredible looking pool ; )

We are still figuring out the activities we partake it once we get there. The trip is short so we have to be very selective about what to see if the short number of days we are there.

Wednesday - Visit Quartier Petit Champlain and lle d'orleans for pizza and a visit to a winery or brewery.

Thursday - Get up early and head to Montmorency Falls and Bora Park (for water slides and apparently they have an ice hotel we are hoping to tour?)

Friday - Basilica of Sainte Anne de Beaupre and Observatoire de la Capitale

Saturday - Ciel Bistro Bar for breakfast before we leave.
